A new bill in Lower Austria would fine or jail residents who skip mandatory kindergarten meetings, part of a broader push targeting “integration refusal” and political Islam.

ÖVP and FPÖ want "Integration refusers" to show the "red card" at the state level. Up to 2500 euros are to be punished. Burka ban applies in the state service. However, there is no corresponding case for this up to now.

In the context of the action plan of the black and blue state government in Lower Austria against radical Islam, according to Good Friday, a comprehensive legislative package is completed.
