Legion baseball roundup: Montevideo blasts Pine Island, Breckenridge

MONTEVIDEO — The Montevideo American Legion baseball team won twice Sunday in a rain-shortened tournament. Post 59 beat Pine Island 15-0 and Breckenridge 13-1. Both games went five innings. Rain Saturday caused delays and postponements in the tournament. In the Pine Island game, Sam Knoop went 3-for-3 with two runs and three RBIs to lead Montevideo.
