CPJ, Partners Call on Lebanese Parliament to Ensure Media Law Protects Press Freedom - Committee to Protect Journalists

The draft law proposes abolishing pretrial detention and criminal defamation penalties to protect journalists and activists from government retaliation, rights groups said.
