With knives drawn for months, the British broadcaster and the French league are in the process of hearing to break their first agreement on Friday 2 May. However, they could continue to collaborate, for the creation of a labeled LFP channel.
The Professional Football League no longer hides its desire to launch its own channel next year. DAZN does not oppose it but wants to be able to participate.
According to the team, the British platform DAZN will no longer broadcast the French football championship next season. However, it could collaborate with the Ligue if the latter launches its own channel.
In conflict for several months, the Professional Football League (LFP) and its broadcaster DAZN, who are moving towards a breach of their contract, have announced that they have ended their dispute.
The LFP and DAZN have agreed to settle the last two dates of this season, for a total of 140 million euros. The Ligue now has until the end of the month to test the market, and eventually engage with DAZN for its Ligue chain project.
