The endurance specialist rider, who wanted to beat the world record of the Eurasian crossing by bike, was reportedly arrested in the Russian Far East, according to World reports.
Sofiane Sehili had started looking for the Lisbon-Vladivostok record by bike, but had to suddenly stop his attempt after more than 17,600 km and less than 400 km from the goal, blocked at the Sino-Russian border. He was arrested after another attempt to cross the border.
