Regarding the Takaichi administration's proposal to reduce the number of seats in the House of Representatives (465) by 10%, the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) released its calculations on the 2nd, outlining the prefectures that will be affected by the 25 seats in the 289 single-seat constituencies. This includes a reduction of three seats in Tokyo and two in Osaka, for a total of 47 prefectures.
