Lawyers: ban on documents still blocks effective aid for prisoners in max-security jail

Criminal defense lawyers say they still cannot properly consult with clients held in the Extra Beveiligde Inrichting (EBI), in Vught, the Netherlands’ most secure prison. That is reportedly due to the fact that the rules bar them from exchanging documents or turning laptop screens toward each other during meetings.
