Couple found guilty of trafficking adopted children sued by oldest daughter
Attorneys for the oldest adopted daughter of Jeanne Whitefeather and Donald Ray Lantz filed a lawsuit against the couple for their negligence, infliction of emotional distress, battery and false imprisonment. The suit was filed in Kanawha County Court in Charleston, West Virginia on Feb. 27, 2025. Whitefeather and Lantz were convicted of criminal charges against the daughter and three other children on Jan. 29, 2025.
