Lawn-watering restrictions come into effect May 1 for Metro Vancouver

Summary by Ground News
Metro Vancouver says the measures are aimed at conserving the region's drinking water ahead of the hot and dry summer months. Lawn watering regulations will be in place May 1 until Oct. 15. Edible plants are exempt from the regulations. The restrictions do not apply to the use of rain water, grey water, any forms of recycled water, or other sources of water outside the regional and municipal drinking water supply system.
