A single-family home in Lattingtown has become uninhabitable after a fire broke out in the attic, displacing the two adult residents. 25 Old Tappan Road, a three-story home, caught fire Sunday, June 21, and was called into the fire department at 1:25 p.m, according to Andrew Schmitt Jr., Nassau County assistant chief fire marshal.
