Queen Margrethe was discharged from Rigshospitalet on Friday at noon and is back at Fredensborg Palace. The Royal House announced this in a press release. Her Majesty is doing well, but must, as with her discharge from the hospital on May 19, continue to take it easy, it says. Queen Margrethe's participation in planned appearances will be assessed on an ongoing basis. At present, there are no changes to already announced official appearances.
After a hospital stay, Denmark's old queen is now back home. Now the 86-year-old needs one thing above all, the palace warned: peace.
