Prosecutors in Germany have charged five members of a radical climate activist group over allegations of forming a criminal organisation.

The Attorney General's Office of Munich has accused five former activists of the "Last Generation" group.

Five climate activists have been charged and indicted for criminal association by the Munich Public Prosecutor's Office.
