Larry Earl Lafollette, age 87 of Brookville

Larry Earl Lafollette, of Brookville, was born February 16, 1939, in Richmond, Indiana, the cherished son of Lawrence Earl and Mary Lafollette (née Cooley). He was a graduate of Kitchel High School. Larry was a self-employed subcontractor who built a reputation for his craftsmanship in floor covering installation. He took great pride in his work and the relationships he built throughout his career. Outside of work, Larry had a lifelong passion for motorcycles. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, drag racing, and he was an avid gun collector. He was a proud member of the American Motorcycle Association. On Monday, July 13, at the age of 87, Larry passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side. Those surviving who will cherish Larry’s memory include his children, Bret Lafollette, Kevin (Colleen) Lafollette, and Vicki Lafollette; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brother Gene Lafollette.
