A female devotee died after being hit by a landslide near Patalganga on the Badrinath National Highway in Chamoli, Uttarakhand, while her husband and 10-year-old daughter were injured. Shilpa, a resident of Fatehabad in Haryana, died on the spot. After the accident, SDRF and police started relief and rescue operations and the injured were sent to Pipalkoti for treatment.
