Lakeland avoids upset, tops West Milford in Passaic County quarters - Girls Lacrosse

Second-seeded Lakeland broke a tie through three quarters with seventh-seeded West Milford on account of a five-goal outburst in the fourth quarter to pull away and nail down a 10-6 win in the quarterfinal round of the Passaic County Tournament in Wanaque.Lakeland’s victory advances it to the semifinal round where it will host third-seeded DePaul, winners over sixth-seeded Wayne Valley by a 15-4 margin in its quarterfinal game.
