DETROIT LAKES — Cody Joe Johnson, 40, of rural Lake Park has been charged in Becker County District Court with felony check forgery. According to court records, on July 21, a woman reported that a check had been fraudulently altered and cashed. She told a law enforcement officer that she had reviewed her bank account and noticed that a check she had written had been altered.
