Laguna Verde goes for another 30 years in the dark

Enveloped in a veil of opacity, lack of transparency and no accountability, the Energy Secretariat (SENER), and the National Commission for Nuclear Safety and Safeguards (CNSNS), renewed in July 2020 and August 2022, the operating licenses of the two old reactors of the Laguna Verde Nucleoelectric Power Plant (CNLV), which together do not generate even five percent of the light consumed in Mexico.
