Lafayette man sentenced to four years of community corrections for sex exploitation of a child

A Lafayette man was sentenced on Friday for sending sexually exploitative material of a child to a decoy in December. Micah Lee Rutland, 38, pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual exploitation of a child – possession in April. He will serve up to four years in community corrections and eight years on probation.
