Lafayette, Lehigh and DeSales to settle COVID-related remote learning lawsuits for $2.7M
Three major Lehigh Valley colleges have agreed to a combined $2.7 million settlement with students who paid for on campus classes but were forced to go remote by COVID-19.The class action settlements with Lafayette College, Lehigh University and DeSales University still require approval by the judge assigned to each case. But the colleges and attorneys for the affected class of students have each signed off on the deals, court records say.
