Thanks to eight top four finishes, the Alliance girl’s wrestling squad placed second at the opening meet in Chadron on Thursday. The Bulldogs tallied 139.5 points which was good for the runner up trophy. Gering won the event with 167.5 points while Chadron was third. Seventeen teams took part.
