The ELA and LAB unions announced Tuesday that they will address the housing crisis by calling for a general strike, in which they are already working with other social and trade union actors to agree on the demands and other characteristics of the 24-hour strike.
The main demands of the strike would be "improved wages and guaranteed access to housing for all citizens." The ELA is also considering calling for a general strike.
