The government has decided to expand its "Government Security Capability Enhancement Assistance (OSA)" framework, which provides defense equipment and supplies to like-minded armed forces, to at least 12 countries under the 2026 budget. This is an increase from the eight countries covered in the previous year. It is also expected to be applied to the Kenyan military in East Africa for the first time.
