The water reserve of the Huarmicocha lagoon began to be used to meet the demand of the farmers of the Chincha valley and also the population consumption. The priority in these first days will be the irrigation of the plantations installed in the districts of El Carmen, Alto Larán and others in order not to affect their production. It is planned for 11 July to open the maximum capacity of the gate to have the natural reservoir of water.
