Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov (pictured) said Russia does not support the Ukrainian president's proposal to impose a ceasefire for Easter, saying it was not formulated clearly enough.
The Kremlin has questioned this Tuesday the Easter truce proposed on the eve by Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski, who has been offended by not taking the "appropriate decisions" to achieve peace during these years.
President Volodymyr Zelensky announced Ukraine's readiness to cease fire for the Easter holidays in order to preserve lives. Analysts warn, however, that the Kremlin could use the pause to build up missiles and launch new attacks.
