Kongsberg Books $241M USAF Joint Strike Missile Contract

Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace has secured a potential three-year, $240.9 million contract from the U.S. Air Force for Joint Strike Missile Lot 2 production. Full funding for the procurement was released at the time of signing and covers not only the missiles themselves but also diagnostic equipment and a necessary logistics package. Deliveries will be carried out from the Norwegian manufacturer’s production facilities located in Norway. The first tranche of missiles was procured in two phases, in May 2024 and January 2025.
