Missing man found dead at base of Long Island cliff

A search team led by the Alaska State Wildlife Troopers, the U.S. Coast Guard and Kodiak Search and Rescue found the body of 30-year-old Kodiak man Andrew Pillans Sunday afternoon on Long Island.

Andrew Pillans, 30, reported missing Saturday after leaving his Long Island campsite, was found dead Sunday. Troopers say he died from injuries sustained in a fall.
