The 18-year-old, suspected of stabbing two people on Wednesday in a high school in Antibes (Alpes-Maritimes), was charged this Friday. He acknowledges the facts, but states that he "heard voices".
The young man was named S and prosecuted for apology of crime since the spring of 2024, after testifying of a "disquieting fascination for mass killings and serial killers", according to the prosecutor. But his judicial and psychological follow-up did not allow "to anticipate a new passage to the act," added the prosecutor.
