In the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), the authorities announced that a large-scale operation of the security forces had taken place during the end-of-year festivities in Kinshasa in order to combat urban insecurity. According to figures provided by the Congolese Ministry of the Interior, a total of 241 individuals were arrested by the security services between 23 and 31 December 2025 in the capital during this operation called "Ndobo".
