Kinngait man arrested in relation to assault with a weapon charge

Kinngait RCMP issued an update on Aug. 28 simply stating that they have arrested a wanted man. The Mounties said they were looking for Archie Toonoo the previous day. Toonoo faces two counts of assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for dangerous purposes, assault by choking, two counts of resisting a police officer, uttering threats and two counts of not complying with a probation order.
