Kick Israel out of Eurovision, Maltese MEP Alex Agius Saliba asks EBU

Some MEPs want punishment for attacks in the West Bank.

Nearly 30 MEPs have called for Israel to be excluded from this year's Eurovision Song Contest. They addressed the public appeal to the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) with this request, citing Israel's attacks on Gaza and the West Bank as the reason for such a decision.

Among the thirty MEPs who signed the public appeal to exclude Israel from this year's Eurovision, there are also three Slovenians, led by Matjaž Nemec. The signatories of the initiative expect the European Broadcasting Union to act in accordance with the values it itself advocates - solidarity, peace and responsibility.
