- On Dec. 5, 2025, Kia unveiled the Vision Meta Turismo concept at an 80th‑anniversary event at Kia Vision Square, Yongin, Korea, attended by Hyundai Motor Group Executive Chair Euisun Chung, Kia President & CEO Ho Sung Song, and approximately 400 guests.
- To preview its flagship strategy, Kia said the Vision Meta Turismo concept previews a near-production flagship expected to become the EV7 or EV8 as part of `Kia's vision for a new era of mobility`.
- Inside, Kia showcased a lounge-inspired interior mixing 1960s touring cues with Opposites United, featuring an AR HUD with Speedster, Dreamer, Gamer modes and a yoke-style steering wheel.
- Market-Wise, the concept could serve as a lower-cost rival to the Tesla Model S and Porsche Taycan if produced as the EV8 GT, and Kia said it will reveal full details soon.
- Hyundai Motor Group Executive Chair Euisun Chung said Kia has a strong character, noting `It is extremely strong in nature and has a strong personality. When properly polished, it can become an outstanding gem` and stressed safety amid competition with China and Tesla.
