Khan paves way for more Tube strikes with ‘no strings’ union pay rise

Sir Sadiq Khan has offered a “no strings” pay rise to Tube unions after London was left paralysed this week by strikes. Bosses at Transport for London (TfL), which is led by the Labour Mayor, are holding a board meeting on Monday which will be told that a “no conditions” pay offer has been made to Tube trade unions.
