- Pune Rural Superintendent of Police Sandip Singh Gill said Hange was involved in the murder conspiracy. An officer stated Hange knew of plans to "injure Ketan by breaking his hands and legs" before Choudhary contacted him after the murder.
- The conspirators explored several locations, including Tiger Point and Visapur Fort, before selecting Lohagad Fort to push Agarwal off a cliff, attempting to disguise the homicide as an accident.
- Authorities are currently questioning Hange to gather information about his role and potential involvement of others. Police continue investigating the case, which was initially misidentified as an accident before being reclassified as a homicide.
