- Jitendra Kumar Dayama, Chikkamagaluru SP, stated police are probing the incident as a potential accident, though other angles remain under investigation.
- Relatives noted the body was found about 150 metres from where Sreenanda disappeared, an area police had searched earlier. Ajith Kumar is sending a three-member team to assist the family.
