- Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations seized cash and documents during the coordinated operation, with officials claiming the manipulation "appears to have been done to exploit rising global prices and public anxiety."
- Authorities maintain fuel supplies remain stable with current stocks providing approximately 16 days of petrol and 19 days of diesel, as new shipments are expected this month to offset disruption.
- Despite rising global tensions linked to the war in Iran, Kenya continues relying on long-term import deals with Saudi Aramco, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, and Emirates National Oil Company under a 180-day credit arrangement.
