MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA, JUL 29 – Farm Aid celebrates 40 years of supporting family farmers with a star-studded lineup including Kenny Chesney and Hall of Famers, having raised over $85 million to date.
- On July 29, 2025, Farm Aid added Kenny Chesney, Wynonna Judd, and Steve Earle to its 40th-anniversary lineup for the Sept. 20 concert at Huntington Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
- The first Farm Aid was held in 1985 when Willie Nelson and other artists supported family farmers, and the nonprofit has since raised more than $80 million.
- Chesney’s Farm Aid performance is his only 2025 concert beyond his recently wrapped residency at Sphere in Las Vegas, and Earle will make his ninth appearance since 1985.
- The festival aims to build a vibrant, family farm-centered agricultural system, supporting programs that help farmers thrive and expand the Good Food Movement, as outlined in its mission since 1985.
