Katy Perry Breaks Silence on "Really Hard" Breakup From Orlando Bloom
Perry said the breakup was emotionally difficult as she kept touring and co-parenting daughter Daisy with Bloom.
In a recent interview published Wednesday, Katy Perry told People that her June 2025 split from Orlando Bloom was "really hard" as she embarked on her Lifetimes tour.
Perry, who shares 6-year-old daughter Daisy Dove with the Pirates of the Caribbean actor, spent nine years in the relationship before they parted ways in June 2025.
Shortly after the separation, Perry met Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau while on the road, describing her new relationship as "super healing" and noting he is "supportive and he's in awe."
Reflecting on the transition with her therapist, Perry admitted she had "always wanted an epic, legendary love" and found her current connection to be the "missing puzzle piece" she needed.
Bloom noted following their split last September that the two will "always be tethered to one another" as they continue to co-parent daughter Daisy Dove.
