Karley Lazella’s RBI triple, shutout push Jacks past Elks

ELK RIVER — Karley LaZella and the Bemidji High School softball team got the better of Elk River on Friday afternoon. LaZella tripled in Olivia Birt in the first inning, then proceeded to throw a complete-game shutout in a 1-0 win over the Elks. LaZella allowed just five hits and one walk in seven innings.
