Mississippi State QB Kamario Taylor Leaves Game Against Oklahoma
Taylor completed 2 of 5 passes for 10 yards before leaving with a hit that sent him to the locker room, officials said.
On Saturday, Mississippi State quarterback Kamario Taylor exited the game against Oklahoma in the first quarter after re-aggravating his injury at Davis Wade Stadium.
Taylor sustained a turf toe injury during a win over Missouri on September 26, then missed the previous week's game against LSU and was limited against Alabama.
Before exiting at Davis Wade Stadium, Taylor completed 2 of 5 passes for 10 yards while the Bulldogs trailed the Sooners 3-0.
Backup Parker "Billy" Puckett entered the game as officials ruled Taylor out for the remainder. "Just catching you guys up on everything," sideline reporter Tori Petry said.
The full extent of the injury remains unknown, leaving Mississippi State searching for a path forward without its star signal-caller for the remainder of the season.
