Trespasser Stopped Outside Kamala Harris and Doug Emhoff's Malibu Home
Security personnel stopped the woman before she reached the home, and deputies said the unidentified trespasser left voluntarily after a 10:30 p.m. response.
Security personnel stopped a woman who trespassed onto the Malibu property of Former Vice President Kamala Harris and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff on Friday night. The couple was not present, according to spokesperson Eduardo Negr.
This incident renews scrutiny of Harris' Security after President Trump revoked extended Secret Service protection last year, leaving state and local agencies to coordinate coverage amid resource concerns.
Los Angeles County Sheriff deputies arrived around 10:30 p.m. after Onsite Security contacted them. The unidentified woman agreed to leave voluntarily, and Authorities confirmed no arrests were made.
Following the incident, watch commander Jason Duron said the Department is stepping up patrols around the Point Dume property. Harris and Emhoff expressed gratitude to Security and Law enforcement personnel who responded.
Harris' Security has faced previous scrutiny, including two arrests near the Brentwood residence in January 2025 for curfew violations during the Palisades Fire. These recurring incidents highlight ongoing protection challenges for the Former vice president.
