Kam Wah Chung's interpretive center project put on hold in John Day

JOHN DAY – It looks like Kam Wah Chung may not be getting a new interpretive center right away. Oregon Parks and Recreation Department (OPRD) reports their remaining GO Bond projects, including work at Kam Wah Chung State Heritage Site in John Day, will be placed on hold until additional funding is available.
