A new AI technology has been developed that retains and reuses knowledge, much like writing down a solution in a notebook and applying it to similar problems rather than asking an expert for help each time.
The CURE technology developed by the KAIST research team is designed to allow a small AI within a device to store and reuse problem-solving knowledge provided by a large AI on a server. This reduces dependence on data communication with the server and increases processing speed, and is expected to support the efficient utilization of AI in various fields such as smartphone photo recognition, robots, and wearable devices in the future.
