The former secretary general of the Élysée sent a second attestation to the Paris Court of Appeal, in which he denied several statements by Nicolas Sarkozy.
A first attestation, read to the court on 14 April, had occurred the break between Nicolas Sarkozy and his former secretary-general at the Élysée. He was furious that the former head of state questioned his probity at the helm.
