South African Family of Seven 'Kidnapped, Executed and Raped'
Police said the suspects demanded banking details before killing the seven family members and making several transfers from the victims’ accounts.
- Police arrested three suspects in KwaZulu-Natal for kidnapping and murdering seven family members from Newark. The victims, aged 20 to 83, were abducted Tuesday night and later found dead in a field in Melmoth.

- Investigations led police to Hlomendlini and Dendetu areas, where three suspects were arrested; one reportedly worked for the family. Officers recovered 11 cellphones and a firearm during the arrests.
- The suspects, aged 21, 26, and 28, will appear in the KwaDukuza Magistrate's Court on Friday, April 24. Provincial Police Commissioner Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi commended the swift arrests and instructed officers to ensure justice is served.
