After Supergirl, Craig Gillespie Unites With Julia Garner for New Sex-and-Murder Thriller
The series adapts Mikita Brottman’s true-crime book about a murder and the 18-year toll of living as killers.
Apple TV has ordered Guilty Creatures, a thriller based on Mikita Brottman's acclaimed true-crime book set in Tallahassee, Florida, starring and executive produced by Emmy winner Julia Garner.
Brottman's book examines the 2000 disappearance of Mike Williams, delving into the psyche of two adulterous lovers and the emotional toll of living as killers for 18 years.
Craig Gillespie will direct the production, while Stuart Zicherman serves as showrunner and Sarah DeLappe, who wrote Bodies Bodies Bodies, adapts the screenplay.
Tomorrow Studios, an ITV Studios partner, will produce through first-look deals with Garner's Alma Margo and Gillespie's Fortunate Jack Productions, both companies under Apple agreements.
Garner, known for Ozark, is currently filming Tyrant and recently starred in The Fantastic Four: First Steps; she will also appear in the limited series The Altruists.
