Clarisse Agbegnenou was aiming for sixth European title

The European Judo Championships 2025 continue in Podgorica, Montenegro, on Thursday 24 April. French Clarisse Agbénénou, who was aiming for a sixth European sacre, did not succeed in her quest.

The Frenchman qualified for the final of her category (-63 kg) by eliminating her compatriot Manon Deketer.

Clarisse Agbegnenou (FRA) was aiming at her 6th European title and if she wins it, she would become the most decorated French judoka of all time, in terms of European gold medals. She is in the final against Czech talent Renata Zachova.
