Huron County 73B District Court Judge David B. Herrington announced his July retirement date in a press release Thursday afternoon. Herrington, who was appointed in 2008 to the role by former Michigan governor Jennifer Granholm, shared on May 15 his plans to step down on Friday, July 18 after 18 years on the bench.
