Judge: 1.5 Tons for Legal Costs of Face Mask Suspect

The Rotterdam court lifts part of the attachment on the account of face mask suspect Bernd Damme. It concerns 150,000 euros. Damme had requested this via the criminal court, because he can no longer pay the bill of his lawyers in the civil procedure - which is on appeal. The judge says he sees a "fundamental" interest for Damme to be able to defend himself "in a fair trial".
