He was one of Israel's most senior media figures and considered for decades one of the voices most identified with foreign news and history coverage; his final broadcast was just five days ago due to the progression of the disease
Nahari, one of Israel's leading foreign news journalists, passed away at the age of 70. Many media figures, friends and his close family attended his funeral at the Yarkon cemetery - this after he revealed that he had been diagnosed with ALS last March, and his condition had deteriorated. In his last radio broadcast, he concluded: "The stories will be written even without me."
