Amman: In a statement, the Independent Electoral Commission of Jordan announced that six parties had been granted an additional one week ' s notice to correct their legal status, stating that they had addressed a number of political parties that had not completed the procedures for amending their statutes in order to take advantage of the additional one week ' s time from the date on which the official books were communicated.
